Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@nocteur.com.
4. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:

5. Right to Object
Where processing is based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data.
6. Data Security
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of data. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix and the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.
7. Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany (the "hosting provider"). When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits, including: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the server request, and the IP address.
This data is not merged with other data sources and is processed for the technically secure, stable and efficient operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider.
8. Cookies and Consent
This website uses cookies and comparable technologies. Some are technically necessary for the website to function; others — in particular analytics cookies — are only set with your prior consent. You can give, refuse or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
The legal basis for technically necessary cookies is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. For all non-essential cookies, the legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG.
9. Waitlist (Email Registration)
When you submit your email address via the waitlist, we use it solely to notify you about the release of NOCTEUR. The legal basis for this processing is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
We store your email address until you withdraw your consent or request its deletion. You can unsubscribe or withdraw your consent at any time, for example by sending an email to info@nocteur.com.
10. Contact by Email
If you contact us by email, the details you provide will be stored in order to process your request and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). This data is deleted once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
11. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse how visitors use the website.
The information generated (including a shortened/anonymised IP address) may be transmitted to and stored by Google, including on servers in the USA. IP anonymisation is enabled. We use Google Analytics only on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings.
You can also prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by installing the browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Google.
12. Web Fonts (Self-Hosted)
This website uses self-hosted web fonts. The fonts are delivered directly from our own server. No connection to Google servers is established when the fonts are loaded, and no personal data (in particular your IP address) is transmitted to Google or any other third party for this purpose.
13. Data Transfers to Third Countries
Some of the services we use (in particular those provided by Google) may process data outside the European Union, especially in the USA. Such transfers are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable.
14. Storage Duration
Unless a more specific period is stated in this policy, we store personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or until you request its deletion — unless statutory retention periods require longer storage.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services or to comply with legal requirements. The current version always applies.
